Well the reason I say this is that the Saturn vserion was missing some of the 3D scenery at the side of the track which is most noticeable on the Mountain Stage near the start, where there's a castle on the right in the arcade, there's just a 2D picture of it in the background the 3D model is completely missing meaning you can see sky' through the gap between the wall and the castle in the floor giving the strange floating track effect people commented on back in the day.
